5 & 6 QT Lower Gearcase - Metallic Chrome "MC"
This Genuine KitchenAid mixer replacement Lower Gearcase housing will replace broken or damaged Gearcase housings, and is also used to replace the old style Lower Gearcase housings.
This part WP9706306 replaces obsolete part #: 9706306 and 9703313. This is a Metallic Chrome lower housing, if you need a different color please call Customer Service to find the availability.
The lower Gearcase housing is the bottom portion of the head of your mixer, in which the gears and the motor sit. The Lower Gearcase will also include the internal gear, part number 9703339 and the Lower center bearing, part number 16897.
