KitchenAid Blender Drive Coupling
 This blender drive coupling will fit most KitchenAid Blender models and is a
very common replacement part. It is reverse threaded and can be easily replaced by following the directions below.
NOTE: If you select USPS Parcel Post shipping, your shipping cost
remains the same for 1 or 2 couplings. USPS Priority Mail rates remain
the same for 1 - 4 couplings and UPS Ground rates remain the same for
1 - 5 couplings! (Some variation may occur depending on ship to location).
KitchenAid Blender Drive Coupling Installation Instructions
To remove your old blender drive coupling, you will need the following tools:
- Hammer or mallet
- Punch or other impact tool
Some things you will need to know before you start.
1. The drive coupling has a reverse thread. This means it will screw off in a clockwise motion, while installation will require you to screw it on in a counter-clockwise manner.
2. There are a couple different ways to remove this coupling. However, in our experience the easiest way is to impact the coupling in order to break the seal it has made with the motor shaft.
Step 1
Position the blender facing you. Then position the punch or other impact tool, pointing away from you, on the left side of the drive coupling.
Step 2
Strike the butt of the impact tool, with a hammer or a mallet, sharply. This will cause the coupling to spin clockwise releasing it from the motor shaft. It may take 2 or 3 tries depending on how tightly your old coupling is attached. Repeat as necessary.
