The Nesco Snackmaster Encore Food Dehydrator is a must for making tasty, nutritious snacks right at home! The dehydrator dries fruits, vegetables, meats and herbs quickly and evenly, providing you with a healthy alternative to over-processed and expensive store bought snacks.

Dehydrating fruits and vegetables lengthens their shelf life significantly while retaining their important vitamins and other nutrients. Dehydrating foods is not only a healthy choice, but a delicious one as well. Make homemade vegetable chips, raisins and jerky at a fraction of the cost of buying them at a store. Dry your favorite fruits to add to pastries and cereals. Apples, bananas, mangoes, peaches and pineapples all dry extremely well. This dehydrator is also perfect for making homemade jerky using ground meat or venison.

The dehydrator uses a top mounted 500 watt fan for quick and even drying. It dries foods in hours not days, like some other dehydrators. Its patented Converga-Flow system circulates the heated air across each drying tray horizontally, ensuring that there is no flavor mixing and no tray rotation necessary. The thermostat on this dehydrator is adjustable (95ø to 155ø). The adjustable thermostat allows you to vary the temperature depending on what you?re drying, ensuring the best drying results every time!

This dehydrator is identical to the FD-60 model except in color.
