The dehydrator uses a top mounted 500 watt fan for quick and even drying. It dries foods in hours not days, like some other dehydrators. Its patented Converga-Flow system circulates the heated air across each drying tray horizontally, ensuring that there is no flavor mixing and no tray rotation necessary. The thermostat on this dehydrator is adjustable (95° to 155°), unlike other dehydrators which have a set temperature. The adjustable thermostat allows you to vary the temperature depending on what you’re dehydrating, ensuring the best drying results every time.
This dehydrator is identical to the FD-60 model except in color.
