This is a genuine DeWalt Cordless Hammer Drill replacement Drill gear case assembly. This Gearcase, 399102-01SV replaces the 399102-01 gearcase assembly. This gearcase is constructed of strong cast aluminum and will include the casing, bearings, spindle shaft, torque selector collar and the cam return spring, part number 399059-00. The gearcase is the aluminum piece which sits behind the chuck, the most common reason for replacing a gearcase is physical damage to the drill either by dropping it or the screw mounts breaking.
