This is a genuine DeWalt replacement carbon brush and lead for the DWD450 « Inch Drill made by DeWalt. This kit includes the carbon brush, wire lead, and connection terminal, the 660804-00SV Brush replaces the 660804-00 brush and lead. The brush is sold individually, and most repairs require replacement of two brushes. Brushes are one of the most commonly replaced parts in Power tools. Worn brushes are common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking or reduced motor power. Brushes need replacement when the carbon is mostly worn away or if the carbon is badly pitted or broken.
