This is a genuine DeWalt Cordless drill replacement housing end cap. This clamshell housing end cap, 620747-00 replaces the 394513-00 clamshell housing end cap made by DeWalt. This clamshell housing end cap is constructed of heavy nylon, and is used with the pistol grip style housing, commonly referred to as a clam shell. Replacing the housing end cap can improve motor fit, but is most commonly replaced because of physical damage to the housing such as cracks or other exterior damage. This drill housing end cap covers the drills motor and holds it in place. This housing end cap requires 4 screws to hold it in place on the clam shell housing, which are not included. This cordless drill housing end cap is used with the 620711-02SV, 622858-02 and 620711-01 Pistol grip clamshell housings.
