This is a genuine DeWalt Cordless Hammer Drill replacement housing. This clamshell housing, 620711-02SV replaces the 620711-02 housing. This clamshell housing is constructed of heavy nylon, and is a pistol grip style housing, commonly referred to as a clam shell. Replacing the housing can improve battery fit and drill operation, but is most commonly replaced because of physical damage to the housing such as cracks or other exterior damage. This clam shell housing will include both halves of the housing but does not include the housing end cap, hardware/screws or the bit holder common on these drills.
