This is a genuine DeWalt replacement carbon brush and holder assembly that fits many Cordless hammer drills made by DeWalt. This kit includes the carbon brush, spring and holder, the brush is sold individually, and most repairs require replacement of two brushes.

Brushes are one of the most commonly replaced parts in Power tools. Worn brushes are common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking or reduced motor power. Brushes need replacement when the carbon is mostly worn away or if the carbon is badly pitted or broken.
