This is a genuine DeWalt Cordless Hammer Drill replacement Drill gear case assembly. This Gearcase, 399152-01SV replaces the 399152-01 gearcase assembly. This gearcase is constructed of strong cast aluminum and will include the casing, bearings, spindle shaft and torque selector collar. The gearcase is the aluminum piece which sits behind the chuck, the most common reason for replacing a gearcase is physical damage to the drill either by dropping it or the screw mounts breaking.
